caja-actions-common software package provides Caja extension to create custom actions (common files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install caja-actions-common
caja-actions-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the caja-actions-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep caja-actions-common *
You will get with caja-actions-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
